Principal- Miss Kimberley
Kimberley has been involved in the arts since the young age of 6. She began attending Musical Theatre classes first, which sparked her passion for performing. As her love for the Performing Arts grew, she partook in singing and acting classes to further her skill. She also attended ballet, tap and jazz classes. Kimberley had great exam success within her training including achieving a Distinction in Grade 8 Music Theatre Singing. Her other qualifications include a Double Distinction* at BTEC Level 3 in Dance and a triple Distinction* in a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts. She then went on to attend ‘The Arden School of Theatre’ in Manchester in which she received a BA Honours in Musical Theatre. Throughout her studies Kimberley was the lead in many productions; her knowledge of the stage is ample.
Alongside her studies, she has taught Performing Arts for six years from teaching weekly classes at a variety of schools to being part of holiday workshops. She has a plenitude of experience.
Her professional performing experience varies from children’s entertaining to performing as part of a touring Theatre in Education company around the UK. Her first professional contract included a ‘Warner Brothers’ credit.
Furthermore, Kimberley has worked in both Primary and Secondary school settings, teaching children of all ages. She is DBS checked and has both an up-to-date Safeguarding certification and Full Paediatric First Aid certificate (OFSTED.) She is also a fully qualified Acrobatic Arts teacher. Her passion for teaching Performing Arts is what motivates her. She can’t wait to share her love for performing with her pupils and help them become the best versions of themselves.
